This Cookie Policy explains how Run With Ops Ltd ("RWO", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on therunsystem.com, app.therunsystem.com and related sites (the "Sites").
Read this together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work or work more efficiently, to remember preferences, and to provide reporting information. Similar technologies include pixels, local storage, session storage and SDKs — for simplicity we refer to all of them as "cookies" in this policy.

- First-party (set by us) or third-party (set by another organisation on our behalf).
- Session (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent (stored for a set period).
- Strictly necessary (the Site can't function without them) or optional (you choose whether to allow them).
2. How we use cookies
Strictly necessary cookies. Essential for the Sites to operate, including security, load balancing, accessibility, session management and remembering you've accepted this policy. They do not require consent.
Functional cookies. Remember choices you make to give you a better experience (language preference, dark/light mode, accepted cookie preferences).
Analytics cookies. Help us understand how visitors use the Sites so we can improve them. Used in aggregate.
Marketing cookies. On our marketing site (therunsystem.com) we may set marketing cookies to measure the effectiveness of campaigns we run on Third-Party Platforms (such as Meta and LinkedIn) and to retarget visitors who have shown interest in TRS.
We do not currently use cookies on app.therunsystem.com for marketing or advertising purposes — only the strictly necessary and functional cookies needed to keep you signed in and operate the Service.

4. Your choices
On the marketing site. When you first visit therunsystem.com you'll see a consent banner. You can accept all, reject all, or set preferences by category. You can change your choices at any time by clicking the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
On app.therunsystem.com. Only strictly necessary and functional cookies are used. There is no marketing consent layer because we do not use marketing cookies in the Service.
Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through settings. Doing so may stop parts of the Sites working. Useful guides:
Global Privacy Control. We respect Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where your browser sends them, treating them as a request to opt out of marketing cookies.
5. Do Not Track
There is no industry-agreed standard for responding to "Do Not Track" browser signals, so we do not currently act on them. You can opt out of marketing cookies using our consent banner.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change. Material changes will be highlighted on the Sites or notified by email.
